Since our founding in 1996, The Boone Society has grown into a vibrant organization for historical research, genealogical discovery, and community connection.
We serve as a trusted resource for descendants, genealogists, historians, and anyone drawn to the stories of the Boone family and frontier history. Through our research initiatives, publications, Virtual Heritage Series, and biennial conferences, we bring people together to explore the past and deepen understanding of the frontier experience.
Our mission is rooted in connection–uncovering histories and keeping these stories alive for future generations. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the past and work together to share knowledge of the Boone heritage in American history. All are welcome—it is not necessary to be a Boone descendant to become a member.

Genealogical Assistance
The Boone Society genealogical committee is engaged in ongoing research of the Boone family in America, descendants of George Boone III and Mary Maugridge Boone.
Members can gain access by request to the George Boone III family tree. Go to the Members Only section for details.
The Society can suggest professional genealogy services that can help with information about your Boone ancestors.
