The Boone Society Reunion will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, June 27th to July 1st 2012. This will be a most exciting and educational experience as it visits the music capitol of the entertainment world.

We have planned field trips to study the early pioneer settlements of the Middle Tennessee area. The relation to Daniel Boone will connect as these were the settlers that came along the Wilderness Road and ventured in a southwest direction across Tennessee.

There will be time to visit the exciting landmarks and entertainment venues of Music City USA. The Boone Society Banquet will be in the Capitol ballroom of the Marriott hotel. The evenings agenda will begin with a cocktail hour held in Albert's lounge next to it. We will then move into the ballroom for the evenings dinner and program. The list of guest appearances and skits will most entertaining.

Exciting Opryland Attractions In Nashville

The General Jackson is a paddle wheel riverboat like the ones that plied the rivers of Tennessee for many years. It is the size of a football field and has smoke stacks that lower, so it can go under the downtown bridges.

This floating theater has a dinner show that rivals most theaters around town. It's decks offer a great strolling view as it passes downtown Nashville on its tour.

The Grand ole Opry is the worlds oldest radio show. This colorful and exciting show will be one to remember. It's part of the Opryland complex and after the show, you can tour the hotel and see its grandeur.
